Prime Audio Reviews covered the Burson V6 Vivid in the video above and in a written review, installing it in place of the stock NE5532 op amps in a Burson Funk.
The V6 Vivid “expands the soundstage by the way of better note density and a more organized stage”, with “an even blacker background” than the V6 Classic.
“It’s truly transparent and renders a more precise timbre.” In the video: “the difference in the sound is pretty remarkable”.
“In the end, the Burson V6 Vivid is a stellar opamp”, best matched with warmer or more musical setups. “If you’re looking for an opamp to breathe new life into your system, I can easily recommend this one.”
