Gregory’s Burson Funk with Ascend Acoustics Sierra LX and Sony MDR-7506

Post Info

This amp betters my Rega Mira and Brio. Imaging and “sound density” are there in spades. I think the Burson Funk Jay Lee is legitimately competitive with the Rotel A11 Tribute that I almost ordered. Jay’s Tone is there in spades, and listening to my tracks through the Ascend Sierra LX is almost a transcendent experience. For my professional work (video editing, SFX mixing) I have a really dependable, accurate amp which is every bit as satisfying as amps costing perhaps 5x more IMHO. My reference is Parasound A51+, BAT VK200, Krell KST.
