Conde’s Burson V6 Vivid Opamp with ASUS Xonar Essence STX II

Installation was straightforward thanks to the excellent guide. Although the STX II is a great card I always felt something was missing whatever “normal” op amps were tried. Even after a few hours without burning in properly it’s clear something new has begun with these V6 Vivids. The music is “meatier”, more detailed and involving with a sound stage bigger than the Aussie outback :) For my purposes, monitoring every nuance of the vinyl track is crucial, the V6’s have proved to be the best I’ve heard.
