Matching notes: The SCM11 is rated at 85 dB (1 W / 1 m) into 8 Ω nominal. Burson rates the Timekeeper 3X GT at 110 W into 8 Ω and 180 W into 4 Ω. At that rating the speaker would reach about 105 dB SPL at 1 m (calc., one speaker, before room gain). ATC recommends 75 – 300 W amplifiers. [1] [2] [3]
