In his Fosi ZH3 review, Mr. Ayrit tried swapping Burson V7 Vivid and V7 Classic op amps into the Fosi ZH3 headphone DAC/amp.

He found the swap simple, taking less than five minutes, and described the difference in sound as “very noticeable”. He was confident he could pick which op amps were installed in a blind test.
His favourite way to listen to the ZH3 was with the V7 Classic. It gave a richer presentation that sounded less digital and smoothed the sound out.
In this particular amp the V7 Vivid was not for him: he felt it made the sound oversharpened, pushing the ZH3 further in the direction he wanted to move away from.
For the ZH3 his pick was the V7 Classic, and he thanked Burson for sending the op amps.
