Andrew’s Burson V6 Opamp with DIY Audio Whammy

Post Info

Very pleased. New to opamps. Built myself a whammy headphone amplifier from the DIYAUDIO store. I used a cheap AD823 to set me off. Was ok but left me a little disappointed. I recently fitted a V6. Huge difference. Improved clarity, bass. Much more dynamic and much improved soundstage. Spent a good two hours on the first listen just searching out music to try, very engaging. Would certainly recommend these op-amps. I’ve just ordered a pair of boards to build a pre-amp for my turntable. No doubt these opamps will be finding another use.
