Grado RS1 · Headphones: open-back (open air), dynamic, on-ear
- Impedance: 38 Ω
- Sensitivity: 99.8 dB SPL / 1 mW ≈ 114.0 dB/V (calc.)
- Frequency response: 12 Hz – 30 kHz
- Plugs / cables supplied: standard connector (options sold)
Matching notes: At 38 Ω and 99.8 dB/mW, the Grado RS1 is a low-impedance load: about 0.63 V (10 mW, 17 mA) for 110 dB SPL (calc.). Burson does not publish a 38 Ω rating for the Playmate 2. Its 32 Ω and 100 Ω ratings (2.5 W SE; 0.6 W SE) fall either side of it. The Playmate 2’s under 2 Ω headphone output impedance is less than 1/19 of the load. [3] [4] [5]
