First Burson product, built very well, sounds great from the first half-hour I’ve had with it. Looking forward to testing it further and who knows, maybe buy another Burson Amp/DAC later on down the line.

KEF LS50 Meta · Speakers: bookshelf, two-way bass reflex (Uni-Q)
- Impedance: 8 Ω (minimum 3.5 Ω)
- Sensitivity: 85 dB (2.83 V / 1 m)
- Frequency response: 79 Hz – 28 kHz (±3 dB); 47 Hz – 45 kHz range
- Recommended amplifier power: 40 – 100 W
- Other: max SPL 106 dB
Matching notes: The LS50 Meta is rated at 85 dB (2.83 V / 1 m) into 8 Ω nominal (3.5 Ω minimum). Burson rates the Funk at 35 W into 8 Ω and 45 W into 4 Ω. At that rating the speaker would reach about 100 dB SPL at 1 m (calc., one speaker, before room gain). KEF recommends 40 – 100 W amplifiers. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Specs from manufacturer data unless a source below says otherwise. “calc.” values are worked out from those figures (V = √(P × R); 110 dB SPL used as a loud reference level). Gear listed without specs is not in our spec library yet.
