Everything has been great so far. Very pleased
The System
Listening with
- Impedance: 8 Ω (minimum 3.7 Ω)
- Sensitivity: 86 dB (2.83 V / 1 m)
- Frequency response: 51 Hz – 28 kHz (±3 dB); 47 Hz (-6 dB)
- Recommended amplifier power: 10 – 100 W
- Other: max output 108 dB; 5.6 kg; crossover 2.5 kHz
Matching notes: The KEF Q150 is rated at 86 dB (2.83 V / 1 m) into 8 Ω nominal (3.7 Ω minimum). Burson rates the Funk at 35 W into 8 Ω and 45 W into 4 Ω. At that rating the speaker would reach about 101 dB SPL at 1 m (calc., one speaker, before room gain). KEF recommends 10 – 100 W amplifiers. [1] [2] [3] [4]
- Impedance: 25 Ω
- Sensitivity: 99 dB SPL / mW ≈ 115.0 dB/V (calc.)
- Plugs / cables supplied: 1.3 m cable, 3.5 mm TRRS to dual 2.5 mm mono; 3.5 mm to 1/4″ adapter
- Other: power handling 1.5 W; 346 g
Matching notes: At 25 Ω and 99 dB/mW, the AudioQuest Nighthawk is a low-impedance load: about 0.56 V (13 mW, 22 mA) for 110 dB SPL (calc.). Burson does not publish a 25 Ω rating for the Funk. Its 16 Ω and 32 Ω ratings (3.5 W SE; 2.5 W SE) fall either side of it. The Funk’s under 2 Ω headphone output impedance is less than 1/12 of the load. [5] [2] [3] [4]

Specs from manufacturer data unless a source below says otherwise. “calc.” values are worked out from those figures (V = √(P × R); 110 dB SPL used as a loud reference level). Gear listed without specs is not in our spec library yet.
