Tim’s Burson V5i Opamp with Numark PPD MMX1000 Rotary DJ-Mixer

Post Info

I’ve been working on this “old” rotary mixer I bought 3 years ago. Mainly the phono stages got the proper attention. I replaced al the caps and placed some new “standard” op-amps. At first, I was very satisfied whit the overall improved sound. But still, there was a sort of curtain hanging in front of my monitors (sound wise). When the V5I’s where installed the sound opened up. More overall detail, better stereo image, full and round lows with excellent mids and detailed and none disturbing high’s. A real upgrade!
