I listen to high resolution music files on my iMac Pro trhrough the Audirvana application. According to circumstances, either thought my HD800s, or via the column speaker set-up. Both ways : superb transparency, excellent dynamics, large sound scene, beautifully crisp detail, sumptuous midrange, neat and precise bass… In my listening room, perfect for the lyric scene, piano, orchestra, ancient music, organ…
