The Burson Supreme Sound Op-amps arrived yesterday. I replaced the dual to mono OPA627 op-amps in my Valab WM8741 DAC with the Burson Supremes, and it was quite an improvement right out of the box. Compared to the OPA627 the Burson supremes has better overall performance. Tighter and more detailed bass, better high frequency detailing, and most off all a significant improvement in soundstaging. And that is before the “burn in” has started!
