David’s Burson V6 Vivid Opamp with XiangSheng DA-05B

Post Info

I recently upgraded my XiangSheng DA-05B DAC by replacing its stock OPA2604 and OPA2134 op-amps with three Burson V6 Vivid op-amps. The transformation in sound quality is remarkable. The level of detail retrieval, clarity, and soundstage depth has significantly improved, bringing new life to my music collection.

This upgrade has truly elevated my listening experience. Familiar tracks now reveal nuances I’d never noticed before, with each instrument and vocal line standing out in a more expansive, three-dimensional space. While the Burson V6 Vivid op-amps represent a considerable investment, the enhancement in audio quality makes it well worth it for any dedicated audiophile looking to maximize their DAC’s potential.
