The first Burson Audio product was the Soloist GT. I am very happy with the sound of it.
The System
Listening with
- Impedance: 300 Ω
- Sensitivity: ~99 dB/mW (approx., “~” as published)
- Frequency response: not published
- Plugs / cables supplied: not published (ZMF lists no connector type)
- Impedance: 300 Ω
- Sensitivity: ~96 dB/mW (approx., “~” as published)
- Frequency response: not published
- Plugs / cables supplied: not published (ZMF lists no connector type)
- Impedance: 35 Ω
- Sensitivity: 90 dB (reference not stated by HiFiMAN)
- Frequency response: 8 Hz – 65 kHz
- Plugs / cables supplied: not published (HiFiMAN spec page lists no connector)
- Other: weight 404 g
- Impedance: 600 Ω
- Sensitivity: 102 dB (1 mW / 500 Hz) ≈ 104.2 dB/V (calc.)
- Frequency response: 5 Hz – 50 kHz
- Plugs / cables supplied: fixed 3 m double-sided balanced (6-core) cable, 6.35 mm plug
- Other: power handling 300 mW; max SPL 126 dB (300 mW / 500 Hz); headband pressure approx. 2.8 N
Matching notes: At 600 Ω and 102 dB/mW, the T1 (1st Generation) is a high-impedance load that needs voltage more than current: about 1.9 V (6.3 mW, 3.2 mA) for 110 dB SPL (calc.). Burson rates the Soloist 3X GT at 0.64 W (XLR) / 0.32 W (SE) into 600 Ω, which is about 19.6 V / 13.9 V RMS (calc.), roughly 20 dB / 17 dB more than that. The Soloist 3X GT’s 0.5 Ω headphone output impedance is 1/1200 of the load. [4] [5] [6]

Matching notes: Burson lists the Soloist 3X GT’s analogue inputs as line level (35 kΩ input impedance). The X26 Pro is rated at 2.5 V (volume 0 dB) (RCA) / 5 V (volume 0 dB) (XLR) output. [7] [5] [6]
Specs from manufacturer data unless a source below says otherwise. “calc.” values are worked out from those figures (V = √(P × R); 110 dB SPL used as a loud reference level). Gear listed without specs is not in our spec library yet.
