Soloist 3P & 3XP headphone amp customer feedback
No issues with the Soloist 3XP. I have not tried opening the unit for fear of burring the screws. Had issues with the Composer 3XP, the bluetooth is not working, and the screws on the bottom were unable to open and burred with the provided small tool.
I already had a GUSTARD H20 headphone amplifier where I had installed BURSON VIVID 6 and which gave me a lot of satisfaction and therefore switching to Soloist 3XP was the logical next step. Lots of details and material in sound reproduction. In short, satisfied …
Good so far but experiencing some variable noise on left channel that tends to increase then disappears, then appears again then decreases, sometimes goes then comes back, very randomly though. I don’t know but the sound quality is awesome!!!
So far so good, great sound. The only problem I’m having is using it as a preamp, it seems you cannot use a normal XLR to RCA adapter for an amp that has only RCA. It forced me to purchase a new Amp that has XLR inputs.
Very much like the Burson Audio Soloist 3XP, plays in the same leage as my other more expensive headpone amplifiers.

Love it! Frankly I haven’t heard any preamp sound this good out of all the preamps I’ve owned over the years.
