SS opamp improved trebles and bass texture, the bass impact also improved. Instrument separation becomes clearer. When I listen to a rock band, I can easily separate lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and drum. Vocals become clear and focused. My audio system comes closer to a high-end system with this upgrade.
I have installed 4 new V5 SS in my Q8 dac and it sounds just great.
The quality of the soundstage and bass is ok
Burson single opamps, give me a clearly night and day improvement; soundstage was now extremely wide, the details are wonderful and the listen pleasure is enormous. Sorry for my little american language;
Hi Team, loving the opamps and soundstage increase. Have both V5’s and V5i’s and have been using for several months.
With the upgrade of the Opamp, it sounded so much quieter with better layering, depth, width and airy too. Separation has improved a lot, listening can be so enjoyable now.
good signal to noise performance, more background details, outstanding mid high range
No objection V5 performs as an audio opamp. Clean and details, low noise as 627AM. Outstanding mid and high frequency and low S/N more details could be recognised.
Less bassy, not really impressed so far. But, I will wait to give my final judgment until everything is burnt-in.
Purchased and installed a set of two V5 single and two V5 dual opamps in a Gustard H10 headphone amplifier.

The sound with 3 dual ss v5 opamps is amazing. It doesn’t hurt my ears with prolonged use like my old opamps.
General huge improvement starting from solid bass through very live and absent mids up to the polished high. Better instruments isolations noticed, more resolving sound with blacker background. Wider and deeper sound stage. Higly recomended parts.

Tested some cheap OpAmps….But this is a game changer!!!!
Compare to the current OPA2640, V5 opamp offers fuller bass and smoother treble. A big step up for sound stage.
