V6 discrete audio opamp customer feedback
Awesome sound, the bass control is great. I was using the Classic dual op amps which sound really good, but the Vivid is louder straight out of the box noticed the difference right away. I will be mixing and matching the V6 Classic and Vivid to maybe improve the sound I hear or not.
I’ve researched beforehand, so the choosing the correct variant and doing the installation was easy.
Great quality sound
Improved sound stage and detail. The vocal is a little more forward, adding a little warm to the DAC.
I love the Burson sound, but have not had great dependability on the products as it seems every few months something new goes wrong that I have to either fix or replace. Luckily Burson has great warranty’s and great customer service.

Swapped two Vivid opamps for two Classics. Big difference, I like having options.
So far, so good! I got 6 of the V6 Classics and 4 of the V6 Vivids that are in my crossover.
Better nice and bright sound than original opamps.

V6 is the best opamp i have heard and I love how musical and natural it sounds, not loosing any details. The presentation is not too forward or fatiguing in any way, this is how hifi should be, I also have some ti and sparkos opamps (discrete).

As you can see on the first picture I use an very old Burson audio Opamp, the first I bought from Burson and the only one that can fit here! The cover plate touch the top of the Opamp ! It work great with the V6 Classic.
Burson opamps make my audio system more engaging
Replaced Burson opamps in ae-9 , sound smoother, clearer, better in everything. Can’t go back to standard opamps.
