Creative Sound Blaster AE-9 with Burson V6 Vivid Opamps

I’m having some issues to get the singles & doubles to play nice together. I’m getting hiss on one of the audio channels. Maybe the extension leads causing this. It works if I only use the doubles (with no extension leads).
