The Soloist Stellar distills Burson’s headphone amp legacy into a futuristic, powerful form—delivering 8W of pure Class-A power per channel. With the Max Current Power Supply, Silent Power modules, and V7 discrete opamps (in the Deluxe configuration), it drives any headphone with dynamic energy, clarity, and finesse.

The Standard version suits those who enjoy upgrading, while the Deluxe version delivers full performance with V7 Vivid Pro opamps, Silent Power Level 2, Super Charger 5A, and a dual-tone remote.You can also fine-tune its tonal performance using any standard dual opamp—from V7 Vivid to V7 Classic, or even third-party options.

The Soloist Stellar is a fully discrete FET Class-A headphone amplifier, built on 20 years of Burson engineering. Each channel is powered by four precision Onsemi MJE15032 transistors, optimized for high Class-A bias.
It delivers 8W of clean power with remarkable control, clarity, and the musicality that defines the Burson house sound.
With exceptional output current and linearity, the Stellar maintains perfect control across all headphones. From demanding planar magnetics to sensitive IEMs, it brings out their full potential with effortless authority and refinement.
A New Benchmark for IEM Listening
The Soloist Stellar includes a dedicated IEM amplification module built around two TPA6120A2 amplifier chips, known for their ultra-low 0.00014% THD+N, lightning-fast 1300 V/µs slew rate, and wide bandwidth.
This specialised design delivers a pitch-black background, micro-detail, and effortless dynamics—even with the most sensitive in-ear monitors. Whether mastering or relaxing, the Soloist Stellar uncovers nuance with breathtaking clarity and zero hiss.
Second-Gen Silent Power
The Soloist Stellar uses our new Silent Power Module 2, built around the LT3045 regulator—renowned for its ultra-low 0.8 µV RMS noise and excellent line/load regulation.
Compared to common regulators like the LM317 or LM7815, which produce hundreds of times more noise, the LT3045 delivers dramatically cleaner, quieter power. The result is a pitch-black background and greater clarity, especially with low-volume or high-sensitivity listening.
Precision Volume Control, Perfectly Tuned
The Soloist Stellar features a dual PGA2320 analog resistor-ladder volume control, offering ultra-low distortion (0.0004% THD+N), wide dynamic range, and precise channel matching. Unlike digital attenuation or traditional potentiometers, the PGA2320 maintains full resolution at every level.
Burson has also crafted a bespoke volume curve for the Soloist Stellar, providing smooth, fine-grained control—even with its powerful 8W Class-A output—ensuring perfect usability from quiet evenings to full dynamic listening.
