After reviewing the V7 Vivid, jjazzifi tested the Burson V7 Classic op amps in a Burson Soloist 3XR GT with a 5A Super Charger, listening through HIFIMAN Arya Stealth and Arya Unveiled headphones, with an Eversolo A8 and a Chord TT2 with M Scaler.
Vocals and Midrange
From the first notes, he found the V7 Classic delivers vocals with “captivating realism”, with a rich harmonic structure and warmth. “Its midrange is quite something special.”
Bass, Treble and Stage
The bass is smooth, with depth and warmth but without losing clarity. Treble is articulate yet gentle, and while the stage is a little smaller than with the V7 Vivid, it stays engaging, inviting long listening sessions without fatigue.
